Kamrul Choudhury
Group CEO
Kamrul is board-level executive with over 20 years of experience in the global dredging, marine and civil engineering, PMC and infrastructure sectors. He began his career in the UK banking sector and a top-tier consulting firm before transitioning into engineering and infrastructure leadership roles across Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
He has led the transformation and international expansion of marine businesses, underpinned by strong governance, financial discipline and operational controls. His experience includes the delivery of complex, capital-intensive dredging assets, including the world’s 3rd-largest jumbo Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger and the largest in Asia.
As Group CEO of DredgeTech Marine, Kamrul provides strategic leadership focused on operational resilience, compliance and sustainable long-term value creation.

Sara Mohamed
Executive Director
Sara is an experienced executive with a strong background in corporate governance, organisational management, and compliance across the Oil & Gas, consulting, civil and marine sectors. She has held senior roles in the UK and Malaysia, including leadership positions within a global dredging company and founded several successful startups.
At DredgeTech Marine, Sara provides board-level oversight of corporate systems, governance, and operational discipline, ensuring effective management structures, regulatory compliance, and consistent standards of excellence across the Group.

Akhyar Sidal
Executive Vice President - Commercial & Corporate Services
Akhyar is a UK-trained surveying professional with extensive experience in dredging, civil, and marine infrastructure projects across Asia. Having built his career in Singapore and Malaysia, he has held senior commercial roles on major regional projects.
Akhyar leads contracts and commercial operations, driving efficiency and international business development across Asia and the Middle East. His combination of technical expertise and commercial leadership supports the Group’s expansion into renewable energy, underpinning sustainable and client-focused growth.

Ganesh Pillaiyan
Chief Operation Officer
Ganesh is a senior civil engineering professional with over 20 years of leadership experience in dredging, reclamation, marine & civil infrastructure & PMC. He has held executive technical and commercial roles with a leading global dredging contractor, serving on the CEO’s Senior Technical Committee.
Ganesh brings expertise in marine structural design, constructability reviews, risk management and end-to-end project delivery across ports, jetties, quay walls, coastal protection works, civil construction and major dredging projects. His international experience across Asia enables him to deliver compliant, cost-efficient and technically robust solutions for complex infrastructure projects.
