Kamrul Choudhury
Group CEO
Kamrul is an experienced global entrepreneur and infrastructure executive with over 20 years of leadership across dredging, shipbuilding and marine engineering in Asia, UK, Europe and the Middle East. Beginning his career in London’s financial sector, he brings a disciplined approach to capital strategy and risk management for large-scale infrastructure projects.
At DredgeTech Marine, he leads an EPC conglomerate focused on climate-resilient marine infrastructure. His accomplishments includes securing a landmark 15-year exclusive government dredging concession and delivering major port developments at Westports, Port of Tanjung Pelepas and Petronas Bintulu LNG terminal being some of the busiest ports in the world.
Throughout his career, Kamrul has combined bold strategic vision with disciplined execution. He is regarded as an industry innovator challenging the century-long European dominance of the dredging industry and proving that world-class marine capabilities can be successfully developed in Malaysia.
Kamrul has led multi-billion-dollar projects, including a USD200 million breakwater and a USD450 million Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger. He scaled a Malaysian marine company into global top-ten and became the youngest shipyard CEO for specialised vessels. He is also Senior Advisor to Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and has built businesses across property, construction and renewable energy. Kamrul continues to re-define world-class marine capabilities in emerging markets. Kamrul serves on the boards of several international subsidiary companies and chairs the Finance and Investment Committee (FIC) of a London Stock Exchange–listed construction group.

Sara Mohamed
Executive Director
Sara Mohamed is co-founder of DredgeTech Marine and an experienced corporate leader with expertise in governance, organisational strategy and compliance within the specialised dredging and marine infrastructure sectors. She brings institutional rigour, commercial discipline and strategic clarity to complex, project-driven environments.
Sara began her career with Petrobras in London, gaining early exposure to global plc standards and multinational operating frameworks. She has since held senior leadership roles across the UK and Malaysia, including within an international dredging company and has successfully established and scaled multiple ventures.
Sara has been instrumental in securing long-term dredging concessions and structuring companies with effective governance, financial discipline and regulatory alignment.
A former Lecturer in Business & Management studies at UiTM Malaysia, she combines academic insight with practical execution.
At DredgeTech Marine, Sara provides board-level oversight of corporate governance, compliance and operational systems, ensuring the Group operates with consistency, integrity and institutional excellence in support of its long-term growth ambitions.
Sara also serves as a Board Member of various international subsidiaries including construction and asset management sectors.

Dato' Mustafha Abd Razak
Chief Financial Officer
Dato’ Mustafha is a highly distinguished financial services leader and corporate banker, with over 25 years of senior executive and board-level experience, including tenure as Managing Director of Bank Rakyat. He is both a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Banker and a Fellow of CPA Australia, bringing expertise across financial governance, banking operations and capital markets.
As CFO, DredgeTech Dato’ Mustafha’s serves as the principal interface with lenders, investors, regulators and rating agencies and oversees structuring bankable financing solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Ganesh Pillaiyan
Chief Operations Officer
Ganesh is a senior civil engineering professional with over 20 years of leadership experience in dredging, reclamation, marine & civil infrastructure & PMC. He has held executive technical and commercial roles with a leading global dredging contractor, serving on the CEO’s Senior Technical Committee.
Ganesh brings expertise in marine structural design, constructability reviews, risk management and end-to-end project delivery across ports, jetties, quay walls, coastal protection works, civil construction and major dredging projects. His international experience across Asia enables him to deliver compliant, cost-efficient and technically robust solutions for complex infrastructure projects.

Akhyar Sidal
Vice President – Commercial & Corporate
Akhyar is a UK-trained surveying professional with extensive experience in dredging, civil, and marine infrastructure projects across Asia. Having built his career in Singapore and Malaysia, he has held senior commercial roles on major regional projects.
Akhyar leads contracts and commercial operations, driving efficiency and international business development across Asia and the Middle East. His combination of technical expertise and commercial leadership supports the Group’s expansion into renewable energy, underpinning sustainable and client-focused growth.

Peter Keevel
Chief Technical Officer - Dredging & Shipbuilding
Peter Keevel brings over 20 years of international experience in marine engineering, dredger construction and complex shipbuilding programmes. A Dutch-trained mechanical engineer, he has held senior technical and executive roles with leading global dredging companies.
He has led dredger newbuild and refurbishment programmes exceeding USD 500 million, spanning high-capacity CSDs and TSHDs, from concept development through commissioning and lifecycle optimisation.
At DredgeTech Marine, Peter oversees technical stewardship of the Group’s dredging and shipbuilding initiatives, driving asset performance, safety and sustainable fleet growth across the Asia-Pacific region.

Ganeswaran Nachiappan
Vice President - Projects
Ganes brings over 20 years of experience in civil engineering, marine construction, dredging, and infrastructure delivery. A qualified Civil Engineer, he has led complex reclamation, coastal protection, jetty, and dredging projects across Malaysia, India, Indonesia, and the region. He is recognised for his expertise in greenfield project development, logistics planning, and innovative project execution. A respected leader, he is known for building high-performing teams and delivering projects with operational excellence, engineering discipline and strategic focus.
